Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from aviscapes.com (the “Site”,  “Aviscapes”).

We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information that we collect about you through the operation of our services.

We store personal information for only as long as we have a reason to keep it.

We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what information on your website is shared publicly (or kept private), indexed by search engines, and permanently deleted.

We aim for full transparency on how we gather, use, and share your personal information.

Information We Collect

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so–for example, to provide our services, to communicate with you, or to make our services better. We collect information in three ways: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our services, and from outside sources.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies – are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • Log files –  track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

  • To monitor and analyze trends and better understand how users interact with our Services, which helps us improve our Services and make them easier to use
  • To measure, gauge, and improve the effectiveness of our advertising, and better understand user retention and attrition–for example, we may analyze how many individuals purchased a Product after receiving a marketing message or the features used by those who continue to use our Services after a certain length of time
  • Screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address)
  • To communicate with you, for example through an email, about offers and promotions offered by Aviscapes and others we think will be of interest to you, solicit your feedback, or keep you up to date on Aviscapes and our products
